Our church vision is:
"Our intergenerational church is intercultural, socially relevant and open to all people. We inspire our environment for Jesus and encourage discipleship."
Today, as the Linz Baptist Church, we are a motley, international mix of young to old people. The members and friends of the congregation come from a good 15 nations worldwide. The common language of our international congregation is German.
The Sunday service is the centre of our church life, together with the small and prayer groups, which take place on different days of the week and in different places, as well as online.
We meet regularly to pray together: Prayer Circle weekly on Wednesdays online and Prayer Breakfast once a month (every 3rd Saturday of the month).
The youth meet weekly - mostly on Saturday. The children enjoy the children's service parallel to the Sunday service.
Joint activities - excursions in beautiful Upper Austria - deepen our relationships. The regular church coffee - our 'cool table' - after the service every Sunday invites you to linger.
As far as possible, we help our asylum seekers in the various matters that come their way. Visiting the sick and the elderly is a privilege we gladly accept. We are part of Diakonie Austria.
Our world mission runs through the EBM - European Baptist Mission. Members and former members of our church are on mission in England and around the world and are in regular contact with us.
Our services are open to ALL and we are happy to welcome you and engage you in conversation. Our family atmosphere invites you to come as you wish.
